Seeking Homer Live at the Beachcomber
Event: 8009
Seeking Homer combines high-energy harmonies and electric guitars with a rhythm section born and bred in the boogie down Bronx. The quartet began playing clubs and bars in the Bronx and NYC's upper east side and it wasn't long before extended their sweaty rock show to colleges and cities throughout the East Coast and the Midwest.Their fifth album entitled, 'Not So Far Away' was released in January 2004. Through their success in the Northeast US Seeking Homer paired with 'producer on therise' Andy Happel. Happel, a native of New England, has worked along side some of the best producers in the alternative rock and pop-rock world like Rupert Hine and John Alagia. This latest effort from Seeking Homer has once again proven their song writing skills and versatility with the likes of U2, The Band, and Queen. What else has Seeking Homer done so far in 2004? Besides touring nationally, performing over 70 shows, releasing their first DVD coupled with a Live album, and breaking into big time commercial radio with songs like ?Anam Cara? and ?About This Day?, they have continued to win fans over one by one.
